Subject: Outstanding performance in the face of adversity
Another really great show on this tour--one that was criminally under appreciated by the crowd. Packed house where maybe 1/3rd of the people were rocking out while the rest ran their mouths during amazing emotional moments. Still a great show, but marred about by the weak crowd--which showed up in half the amount for their one set show the following year.
This night had many gems, including "GGM>Gloria>GGM" and the "Alone-->Hippie". John's solo in "Stand" is also one of the best I have heard him play live.
A real jam band crowd at this show would have made it one of the band's all time greatest. Regardless, it remains a standout in the canon of great fall 95 BT shows.
